Lucy Ballantyne, North Carolina Certified Paralegal

Lucy joined the Alford Law Firm with extensive experience in magazine publishing, residential real estate and waterfront property referrals. She managed her own property referral company and was also a broker for a prestigious North Carolina realty company. In addition to her experience as a bankruptcy paralegal Lucy also brings her knowledge of real estate, attention to detail, and fine communication and organizational skills. Having juggled careers, marriage, and raised three children she is a master multi-tasker. Lucy treats all of Alford Law Firm’s clients with the same dignity and respect she would expect from others. As a people person her favorite saying is “You never know where a conversation will lead you.”

Lucy received her BA from Wheaton College in Norton, MA, her NC Real Estate Broker’s License from Guilford Technical Community College, and her paralegal certificate from Guilford College. She is also a graduate of H&R Block’s tax preparer course and Wake Tech’s Real Estate Law course.

In her spare time she, her husband, and family enjoy a wide variety of sports, travelling, reading, and cooking. She is an active community volunteer for the North Carolina Museum of Art and Susan G. Komen Foundation. She is also a member of the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce, Raleigh-Wake Paralegal Association, and Greater Raleigh Realtor’s Association.
